Salman Khan‘s Tiger Zinda Hai is expected to dwarf every release this weekend. And rightfully so! The promise that the sequel to the film held in the trailer made everyone deeply positive about its fate at the box office. We had a hunch that it will get a huge release this Friday. Well, we were right after all. Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai will get the widest release for a Bollywood film ever with 5700 screens. By doing so, it has managed to keep yet another film of the superstar behind – Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Salman Khan’s films have been enjoying huge screen counts since the time they started become sureshot money spinners. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo till now held the record of getting the maximum number of screens with 5600 but now it goes to Tiger Zinda Hai. It will have 4600 screens in India and 1100 screens overseas. With a number that big, the film is set to open with huge numbers. In fact, with such numbers, you can expect the opening numbers can become more than the predicted Rs 40 crore. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh has also revealed the economics of the film. It is made at a budget of Rs 130 crore. If you add the P & A cost of Rs 20 crore, Tiger Zinda Hai’s budget rests at Rs 150 crore. If all goes well for the film, it might earn so much in first few days itself. But everything depends on the opening and from the looks of it, we can surely say it will be a grand Friday!
