Wildlife presenter Steve Backshall is expecting twins with his wife Helen Glover.
Steve, 44, and Helen, 31, took to Twitter this afternoon to announce the happy news.
The pair, who married in 2016, shared their baby news Twitter today with the same two photos – one of Helen on a boat showing a baby bump and of Steve with two goslings.
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Steve tweeted: “On the boat with my three favourite people; seems this summer we’ll have some little ones of our own… @Helenglovergb.”
“Soooo…The biggest adventure of our lives.. 2 little (chicks) of our own arriving this summer!!! @SteveBackshall,” Helen tweeted.

The announcement comes just weeks after he told the Radio Times they had not decided when to start a family because of Helen’s rowing career.
Helen is a two-time Olympic champion and member of the Great Britain Rowing Team.
Steve, who met Helen at Sport Relief in 2014, said they may need up to a year before they start talking about children.

“Helen hasn’t quite decided yet whether she wants to continue with the rowing,” he said.
“She’s absolutely at the pinnacle of her sport and it’s going to be very hard for her to be away from that.”
She has been ranked the number 1 female rower in the world since 2015.
