Are we heading for a massive Brit Awards bust-up between Liam and Noel Gallagher ?
Liam is hotly tipped to score a Brits nomination at tomorrow’s launch show – but could it be at the expense of his brother Noel?
A music insider told 3am: “Whisper it, but Liam stands a better chance of getting the nod over Noel… the industry really recognises his comeback. Is there room for both on the shortlist? Maybe not.”

After Oasis split in 2009, Noel went on to have a successful career with High Flying Birds while Liam formed Beady Eye, which never matched their success.
But when both their recent albums were released, it was Liam who came out on top with As You Were selling over 100,000 copies in its first week, while Noel only shifted 78,000 copies of Who Built The Moon?
This came despite Noel saying he would never listen to Liam’s effort, adding: “I’m not a fan. I’m not going to learn anything. He doesn’t write his own songs so it means nothing to me.”

And Brit insiders are predicting Liam could cause carnage if he attends the glitzy bash on February 21.
The singer was famously called a “knobhead” by host Peter Kay in 2010 when he accepted the award for Best Album of 30 Years for (What’s The Story) Morning Glory.
In his acceptance speech, he thanked the early members of the group, but left out Noel who had quit the band the previous year.

He yelled into the microphone: “Listen kids. I want to thank Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan White . The best band in the f***ing world. Live for ever.”
He then chucked the microphone before later joking backstage about doing drugs.
Last year, Liam called out Noel after he presented the Best British Male Solo Artist award, a gong which Liam could be eligible to win this year.
The singer took to Twitter and posted a snap of Noel at the Brits afterparty with Simon Cowell , captioned: “Nuff Said.”
